Biography

Livingston Rampey is a Composer, Videographer, and Video Game Developer based in D.C. With a degree in Music Technology, he specializes in music for Visual Media and also sound design. Notable past projects that he has been a part of include "A Journey To Paradise", "Magfest Swadge" (2024-Present), "Impressions Of War" (Short Film), "Obverse: The Other Side", and "Penguin - A Mockumentary".Livingston often frequently collaborates with the artist PotOfDoodles making animated music videos. Such videos can be seen on the "Linky Dink" and "PotOfDoodles" youtube channels respectively. Livingston says "It's crazy that those old videos were made with only Garageband IOS and Procreate. To think I started making music on my parents Ipad and I didn't even know how to use it correctly. I used to think that the db meter showing red was a good thing. If Garageband didn't auto-compress and limit I don't know how I would of sounded even halfway decent. Like, so much has changed since I first starting on this journey. Now I'm doing voiceover and scoring to a penguin who has trouble with remembering to look for his family."Livingston is excited for future collaborations with Game Makers and Film Directors. He Says "There are so many cool projects and people I have had the privilege to work with. I can't wait for whats next."
